3. Holiday Waffle Sundae at Magic Kingdom (Sleepy Hollow Refreshments)
Funnel cake is thought of as one of theme park’s most quintessential items. And Sleepy Hollow Refreshment’s makes it darn near impossible to pass up.
This gussied up version of the traditional Funnel Cake features a giant scoop of yummy Peppermint ice cream, M&M’S chocolate candies, House-made red velvet waffle and just the right amount of hot fudge.
Available November 8th through December 20th of 2024 at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party only!
4. Red Velvet Christmas Wreath Doughnut at Magic Kingdom (Various Carts)
Is there such a thing as a bad doughnut? I think not!
If you’re a fan of red velvet, you’re going to LOVE the Christmas Wreath Doughnut, highlighting a red velvet base with smooth green buttercream and adorable Holiday sprinkle decorations.
If I had to choose between the Christmas Wreath Doughnut and Funnel Cake Sundae, I would choose the Christmas Wreath Doughnut.
It is easy to cary around the parks and is a touch more festive, in my opinion!
Available Available November 8th through December 31st 2024 at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and regular park hours!
5. Traditional Holiday Meal at EPCOT (American Holiday Table)
If you’ve never went to EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays before, I am so excited for you.
Just be prepared to CRAVE this delightful tradition from now on whenever you visit Walt Disney World for Christmas.
Located at American Holiday Table Food Booth in the American Adventure Pavilion at the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays, you will find a smoked turkey with dressing, mashed potatoes, green beans, cranberry sauce and gravy…
…better known as… THE BEST THING EVER!
If you love all things Thanksgiving, this is the dish for you.
In fact, this is so authentically American, it is a surprise that it is not serve at Disney’s EPCOT in the American Pavilion year-round! *hint, hint, wink, wink*
Available November 29th – December 30th of 2024.

6. Maple Bûche de Noël at EPCOT (Holiday Hearth Desserts)
Beautiful, delicate, and festive, the Maple Bûche de Noël offers a maple mousse and cranberry rolled in a gingerbread chiffon cake.
I love the inventive combination of maple and cranberry together. I wouldn’t expect anything less from Holiday Hearth Desserts and neither should you.
I’m still waiting to see if it will return this year.
Available November 29th – December 30th of 2024.
7. Macaron in France Pavilion at EPCOT (Le Marché de Noël Holiday Kitchen)
Well, I’ve found out most Insta-worthy item, that’s for sure!
For starters, the macarons at EPCOT are extraordinarily good.
Now, add a little holiday flare and you’ve got the gorgeous Macaron lollipop with peppermint and Valrhona chocolate ganache.
A little bit of advice… don’t order just one. You’re not going to want to share this one!
And if this little Disney holiday treat is not available during your visit, be sure to head over to the bakery in the France Pavilion called Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie where you can choose the festive macaroon that’s best for you!
Available November 29th – December 30th of 2024..

8. Snickerdoodle Gingerbread Cookie Sandwich at EPCOT (Karamell Küche)
Two light and fluffy gingerbread cookieswith asweet buttercream frosting centerandsalted caramel drizzle. I shouldn’t have to say more to convince you… but I will.
This is one of the BEST things I have ever tried in my 30+ year history of going to Walt Disney World.
I love how the slight spice from the gingerbread tamps down some of the sweetness of the buttercream. Meanwhile, the salted caramel makes it just a little savory.
Is it a treat, dessert, snack, or meal?! I don’t know. But at $6.99 per cookie, you can’t go wrong!
The availability of this items varies. Though it is a holiday exclusive item, it has popped up on the menu throughout the calendar year. Sometimes it’s there, sometimes it’s not. However, given the gingerbread base, we’re counting it (you can find the Snickerdoodle version more often)!
9. Winter Spice Mini Whoopie Pie at Disney’s Hollywood Studios (The Trolley Car Café)
How adorable is this cake?
This jolly addition to The Trolley Car Café presents a beautiful spice cake filled with orange buttercream and cranberry-raspberry jam topped with a candied orange peel, cranberry, holiday sprinkles, sweet snow, and a plant-based chocolate tree.
Honestly, the ingredients would have been enough to sell me. But that little bit of orange buttercream helped take it the extra mile. Available November 8th 2024 through January 4th 2025.
10. Red Velvet Holiday Milk Shake at Disney’s Hollywood Studios (Dockside Diner)
Is there anything that says CHRISTMAS better than a holiday drink??? How about a Red Velvet Milkshake?!
Taste the holidays with this truly indulgent red velvet ice cream shake swirled with chocolate sauce and topped with whipped cream, rainbow sprinkles, and a holiday tree sugar cookie.
Now, I am a sucker for anytime Disney throws a cake, cookie or doughnut on top of anything! But if you’re apprehensive about this velvety shake, don’t be.
Despite the red velvet ice-cream and rainbow sprinkles, it’s actually much sweeter than you may expect. Available through January 4th of 2025.
BONUS ITEM: Half Dozen Christmas Donuts at Disney Springs (Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew)
I know, I said Top 10… but who doesn’t love a little extra food around the holidays?
I simply couldn’t resist adding the Half Dozen Christmas Donuts from Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew to the list! I’m mean… just look at them!
If you’re a local (or staying nearby), this is the perfect way to bring a little Disney magic back home with you this holiday season!

When are Disney World Christmas Treats and Desserts Available?
One of the most important things to know about Walt Disney World treats and desserts is their release date, as well as their end date. This year it will start November 8, 2024 with Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
However, the easiest answer that seems to take care of the majority of items is “mid-November to late-December.” But as you seasoned ThemeParkHipster knows well, nothing at Disney is that straight forward.
Believe it or not, some of this festive fare is only available for a single week – not ideal if you have a vacation coming up and you’ve got your eye on something special. Frankly, the timeline just may not work out!
That is why is imperative to know the specifics, which treats are available, where, and when.

Where to Find Disney World Christmas Treats and Snacks?
As we discussed, every mid-November to late-December, Walt Disney World offers limited time only treats and desserts filled with festiveflavors of peppermint, gingerbread, chocolate, caramel, oh-so-much-more.
Butwhereexactly are all these goodies hiding?
Thankfully, if they are hiding… they’re not doing a very good job.
You can find these sweat treats all over Walt Disney World property, from the parks and resorts to Disney Springs and everywhere in between.
However, some locations are better than others. Keep reading to find out where…
Who Has the BESTDisney World Christmas Treats and Desserts?
To me, Disney Springs and Hollywood Studios has the best Disney World Christmas snacks.
So, if you can find Disney Christmas Treats and Desserts all over Walt Disney World property, where is the number one spotto fill your Christmas stocking full of goodies?
Well, that depends on what you’re after.
I’ve gone ahead and broken down a few categories to help further assist you in your quest!
Who Has the Most Disney Christmas Treats and Desserts?
If you’re looking to one-stop-shop, you cannot beat Disney Springs! I mean, come on – the whole place is practically one giant eatery!
Personally, I like it because it is free of admission, easy to navigate, and tends to be far less busy than the parks!
Who Has the Best Variety Disney Christmas Treats and Desserts?
Given the cultural culinary display that is World Showcase, EPCOT has the best overall variety of Christmas Treats and Desserts.
Some of my favorite hot spots to get the best holiday food at EPCOT include:
- American Holiday Table
- Le Marché de Noël Holiday Kitchen
- Karamell Küche
Who to Skip for Disney Christmas Treats and Desserts?
You know I love the food and drink at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. And that is why is pains me to say…
Not only is this season’s lineup is the most forgettable, but it is also the most difficult park to get your hands on holiday offerings, due to their varying times of availability.
Unlike other parks, almost every bite is released on a separate date. So, if you’re hoping to swing by Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park on December 15th for example), two of their three sweets wouldn’t even be available yet.
By all means, don’t let this deter you from checking out some incredible bites. Just make sureyoupay really close attention to those dates!
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme ParkHoliday Snacks and Treats
- Pizzafari and Restaurantosaurus (Available Dec. 1st through Jan. 6th; mobile order available): Snack for Santa: Chocolate chip cake, edible cookie dough, milk mousse, chocolate chip cookie, buttercream, and Christmas sprinkles
Which Disney Christmas Treats and Desserts Will Be Easiest to Get?
Want to avoid the ultra-long lines? Give the Disney resorts a try!
Not only are the offerings well-themed and super creative… they’re also easily available in a fun and festive atmosphere.
Here are just a few reasons the Disney resorts are the absolute best place to get your holiday goodies:
- Free admission
- Quick lines
- Most variety
- Calm lobby to enjoy your sugar crash
I mean, come on… who wants to rush eating their confections while walking elbow-to-elbow down Main Street, U.S.A.?
The resorts provide an atmosphere and ambiance that encourages you to sit back, relax, and enjoy. It’s really feels like you’re “home for the holidays.”
The Hidden Gem at Disney World for the Holidays
It is almost impossible to picture Main Street, U.S.A. without smelling the sweet aroma of popcorn and ice-cream.
And when it comes to creative culinary concoctions, EPCOT and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park reign supreme.
So, what about Disney’s Hollywood Studios?
I am such a sucker for Disney’s Hollywood Studios, especially around the holidays.
There is just something about the golden age of Hollywood that fits right with joy and grandeur of Christmastime. Maybe it’s the tinsel all over Tinseltown!?
